- An update for Opera 8 has been released. It takes care of some security advisories, adds "Improved support for XMLHttpRequest" and some stability fixes: Opera 8.02 for Windows Changelog.
- The IE7 Beta 1 release is covered pretty well by IE7 beta 1 release - The KuraFire Network and IE7 Beta 1 - Anne’s Weblog about Markup & Style (plus the articles they link to, if you're keen). The short version: it's 'very beta' software, nothing to get excited about and only for the very dedicated to run up (on sacrificial and/or virtual workstations, from what I hear). Certainly there's no parting of clouds and choirs of standards angels.
