web directions - see you there!
It's official, it's announced. Web Directions 2006 has an awesome lineup and you should go. You'll have a terrible time trying to pick between the parallel sessions, but what a wonderful problem to have! :)
I'll be there. I will in fact be nervous as all hell, being on stage for the Moving Your Organisation To Web Standards panel!

Ben, the Vulcan Hotel or are you moving upmarket now you are a presenter ;-)
I have already booked and paid for flights, accomodation, workshop and conference tickets just need to work out which streams on day 2.
Damn. Grrr. Sigh.
I organised what I think will be W3C's first ever working group meeting in Africa (yes, it's about long past time).
It's been a while in the planning (well, OK, so I figured out a venue and a date long in advance, so as to leave as much of the hard-core planning to the last minute as I could). And it's a great thing to be doing, and as it happens it's actually a reasonable thing from a business perspective yadda yaada yada yadda ya...
And it's that week, and I miss out again.
Enjoy the presentation - I look forward to enjoying it afterwards.
We haven't caught up in person since this was announced, so I'll say it here -- congratulations, you lucky son of a ^H^H^H^H !!!
I'm putting in the application for some GU funding, but I may be crashing on someone's floor rather than enjoying the hospitality at the Vulcan this year.
Will shall party though; oh yes indeedy! :D
@nick - Awesome to hear you'll be there again this year! I won't be at the Vulcan, but I'm sure we'll catch up anyway :) I'm yet to figure out if I'll be there for the workshops or not and I can't pick between the streams either. Well ok so I know at least one stream ;)
@chaals - argh indeed! Well at least you'll be Doing Good, even if we won't be Drinking Beers. It'll happen :)
@andrew - thanks :) I've no doubt floor space can be found somewhere. The Griffith crew will do WD06, oh yes!
